A few weeks ago, I (finally!) upgraded to a full frame camera! I had been wanting to get a full frame camera for a very long time, but never ended up doing it. As January began, I figured it was time to commit and do it, because I have a full frame lens and really wanted to start using it to it's fullest potential. What better way to try it out than to capture a beautiful sunrise!
The location was JJ Saddington Park in Port Credit. The park was a great place by the lakeshore. The sunrise itself was pretty nice, but it was very windy and that made for amazing sparkling waves hitting the rocks on the shore; and that is where I pointed my lens: to capture its movements in the sunlight. The sun lighting it from the back made for really breathtaking scenery and really great photographs.
The sunlight and water reflections created a very dreamy hue to the scene that I found so captivating. You would never know that it was the beginning of January.
I've always loved photographing crashing waves on a sunny shore. This location definitely made for beautiful photography of the water and I could have spent hours sitting on the rocks waiting for the perfect wave.
Thank you for reading!
I hope you enjoyed this little sunrise adventure.
