We've had some pretty cruddy weather these passed couple of weeks and then when it was nice out, I wasn't able to enjoy it. As a result, I haven't been able to go on any hikes! This weather hopefully ends now and I am so excited to go on more adventures because everything is just so vibrant and green! The grass on every corner is so tall and loving every bit of the rain that it got. But now the sun is out and hopefully will be this weekend so I can go indulge in nature.
I'm presenting a little throwback to late last year when I decided to do a little architectural photography of central Mississauga; specifically the Marilyn Monroe Buildings. These are apartment buildings right in down town Mississauga. The reason for the name is because it resembles the curly figure of Marilyn Monroe. From a photographer's stand point, the curves, texture and contrast of the lights really make for some nice (preferably black and white!) photographs.
I can tell you that I was basically laying on the ground for some of these trying to get the right angle. It was cold and there were people staring at me; but it was really fascinating to really examine the structures and capture them.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this little throwback of a blog.
