Another place I ventured to was Potholes Provincial Park. The last time I recall being there was in the 3rd grade during a class trip. I vaguely remembered what it looked like. But I did remember going through the trails and flailing my arms at the bugs - because everyone know how much of an outdoorsy person I am. I love nature, and I also love to immerse myself in nature; though only in small doses and despite how much my boyfriend tries to convince me to go camping, I will not sleep in a tent in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, once again, the rain made for great water flow, and beautiful greenery - though you could already see the occasional plant start to change colours.
I really love taking detail shots using nice depth of field. Despite being 99% overcast, the colours were still so vibrant and gorgeous.
This image above, I worked on for a while. I thought the placement of the leaves and the waves worked so well together and I wanted to be sure to get the perfect shot.
It was so nice to go back again after so many years, and well worth it too! I was able to produce some work that I am very happy with. To those travelling to Chapleau, I recommend you check it out!
Thank you for reading!
I hope you enjoyed a look into my adventures at Potholes Provincial Park.
