Belfountain Conservation Area - J. K. Ribout Photography

August 16th, 2017

For this weekend's adventure, we ventured to Belfountain Conservation Area. It's become one of my favourite places we've been so far because it was so beautiful. It isn't a very big trail but it's picturesque everywhere you look.

When we first got there, the light from the morning sun was shining so perfectly on everything; including the water fountain found just down the pathway. My eyes were instantly drawn to it; after fawning over the beautiful stillness of the water.

The next thing that captured my attention was the waterfall just beyond the fountain. To cross the river to get to the other side was a rickety bridge. The bridge made me nervous as it swayed back and forth but in the end, I captured my best photos from the vantage point of the bridge.

The trail was beautiful and shaded with the trees overlooking it and textured with moss. It was a nice walk through nature. Though small, this Conservation Area is such a gem and so peaceful in the morning.

Thank you for reading!

I hope you enjoyed this little adventure.
