Hello! This is a different sort of blog - which is exciting! Over Easter long weekend, I went to Thunder Bay to have a long awaited reunion with my two best friends. They are definitely no strangers to my camera lens. If you have been following my work for sometime, you will recognize the model in these photographs.

It had been way too long since our last photo shoot, and I had been itching to get together with these two to do a shoot. But as we're separated over the province, it's definitely a challenge at best. This visit was the perfect opportunity to get back at it - and it was nothing short of an old fashion good time.

I had been seeing some posts on Facebook about the challenge that has been circulating the internet where people have spontaneous photo shoots in random stores, working only with props that are available. Well, as most of you know, I pride myself in improvising my way through photo shoots because I like the challenge and thrill of it - and when I nail a shot, it's just that much more satisfying. So, the three of us hopped in the car and went to the local craft store and worked our magic! I hope you enjoy this little series of floral portraits.
