Remember a while back when I did a blog post about the little town of Arundel in England with the massive, beautiful cathedral? (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you can read it here.) Well, I've found it's sister; her name is Elora... now obviously it's not actually, officially named its sister town, BUT I've found my own little piece of Arundel in Elora and I am ecstatic about it.
One of the places to be in Elora is the beautiful Elora Gorge Conservation Area. This is where our hike began, but we extended it a bit further and into the town because of how excited we were to look around.
We managed to get to the bottom of the gorge where the views just kept getting more and more beautiful. The overcast day didn't even make a dent in the beauty of the day; that's when you know you're in a beautiful spot.
After our little adventure through most of the town, we put our equipment away and explored the shops, cafes and scenery of the town like good ole fashioned tourists. I must say that this place has become one of my favourite places and my new escape from reality. It is the cutest little town with the most character.
