I must say that this week's adventure was decided on the day of. On a beautiful Sunday morning, Alex and I could not think of where to go - mainly because things still aren't quite as green as I would like them. But then for some reason, Alex mentioned that we should go to Silver Creek. While we had no objections or any other ideas, we rolled with it. And I'm very glad we did!
Personally for me, this trail was one of my favourite thus far. It had elements from other places that I really enjoyed walking through - it had some water, beautiful trees, green foliage, rocks and lookouts. It was a great place for a leisurely walk in nature. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning either. It was the first time this spring that I really saw that spring was finally here.
I very much loved the texture of this tree. It reminded me a lot of dragon scales - because y'know, that's the common thought amongst your average person I would think.
I am finally starting to see the light (sunlight that is - beautifully illuminating nature) at the end of the winter tunnel! Looking forward to more sunny and greener mornings.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this week's adventure!
